| Checkpoint Systems |
 |
| Challenge: Checkpoint Systems is a global leader in shrink management, merchandise
visibility and apparel labeling solutions for retailers. In the past few
years, a series of innovative product launches, as well as acquisitions,
resulted in new capabilities and offerings to its customers. The company's
web site had not kept pace with the new solutions and messaging. Checkpoint
System’s online presence was visible in a number of regional sites, but it
was not unified by a single brand look and feel. The sites were
inconsistent in the way information was presented and the way a user
navigated through them, and their construction made updates difficult. They
also didn’t allow the company to showcase areas of growth. Our ability to
see the larger strategic picture and implement the necessary changes was
why Checkpoint Systems turned to us. |

| Solution:
In our discovery phase we determined the needs of the various global content managers and audited the content to devise a better architecture for the information. We designed a site that was consistent from region to region but allowed for individual updates configured to follow global brand guidelines. We brought in a technology partner, Hedgehog Development, to provide unique content management through Sitecore CMS. They created custom functionality and permissions to help corporate marketers manage the site through regional resources and translation services while keeping the brand-consistency quality controls centralized. They implemented a custom forms module to generate regionally specific conversion forms for gathering new leads. And they devised logic that allowed specific content to be revealed or promoted based on the user’s region or past browsing behavior.
We’re currently working with Checkpoint Systems on additional projects, including an extranet and intranet. View Project |
